The park will act as a venue to bring together professionals working for nature, artists, facilitators, musicians and craftspeople along with our own staff. Everyone visiting the park during the festival will experience a special atmosphere and meaningful encounter with what it means to be in a National Park, part of the Natura 2000 Network \u2013 the largest nature protection network in the world!<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-size-heading\" style=\"font-size: 110%;\">Glenveagh is serviced by the Local Link Route No. 971 between Burtonport and Letterkenny several times a day. In the mornings of the festival, she will demonstrate some of the techniques she uses with made botanical inks in her photographic work. The rich heritage we draw from in traditional and folk music began with people interpreting patterns in nature through songs and stories. We find ourselves singing of trees, lakes, and mountains from across Ireland\u2014songs that have stood the test of time. They carry a modern relevance now, as we look to preserve the very lands that are changing so quickly before us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorcan O\u2019Toole of the Golden Eagle Trust will explore old and simple indigenous Gaelic words sharing their importance in understanding the past relationship between humanity and nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dark Daughter Productions under director Maura Logue, has been part of Glenveagh\u2019s event programme for many years. Maura specialises in interactive storytelling and will present a new work for Solo Voice, written especially for this event offering her perspective on forgotten places &amp; place names. We will introduce you to birds and bats, wildflowers and trees, bogs, mountains and lakes! Just a huge celebration of the vast biodiversity to be found here in Glenveagh National Park. Our Natura 2000 Day Networking Brunch is also back after its huge success last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival is a partnership with Donegal County Council, the Glebe Gallery, Creative Ireland,
