This month\u2019s object is an unusual looking chair. It is a weighing chair originally used to weigh jockeys before a horse race. It now sits in the Entrance Hall at Glenveagh Castle. As a joke, the last private owner of the Castle, Henry McIlhenny would ask his guests to be weighed on arrival and then again on the way out at the end of their stay.
