It then ascends steeply up beyond the Miners\u2019 Village through rocky terrain. A small footbridge crosses the Glenealo river with open mountain and Sika deer all around. A stretch of wooden boardwalk continues uphill before joining a stone path along the iconic Spinc cliffs. The views here are stunning. Eventually the path descends through a gated exclosure where native woodland is regenerating. Follow the trail back down to the valley floor of Glendalough.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis is a mountain walk.
