Public Consultation
The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage will open the second round of public consultation on the Glenveagh National Park Visitor Experience Development Management Plan (Draft 2) on June 6th.
To ensure that there is an understanding of the changes made from the initial draft plan, NPWS along with our partners Failte Ireland and the appointed consultant team CONSARC will host an open session for interested parties on Saturday June 6th at 11am in the Glenveagh National Park Visitor Centre auditorium.
The updated documents contain much of the feedback provided by stakeholders from the first round of consultation, but not all.
There is also an updated NIS and Environmental Report to accompany the Plan.
The consultation will run from June 6th for 30 days and the updated documents will be available in physical form in the park and online during that period via this link: www.gov.ie/GlenveaghVisitorPlan
We welcome your feedback on what is an ambitious and exciting plan that sets out the future direction for Glenveagh National Park.
