Summer Programme of Events
Our full schedule for the summer programme of events for July and August will be released shortly. We will have information sessions on the Connemara Pony on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 12noon. There will be children’s activities with the Raven Ramblers on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am, and our evening lectures will be every Wednesday at 7pm in the AV Theatre. Will will also have guided nature walks on Wednesdays and Fridays, leaving the Visitor Centre at 11am.
To whet your appetite, we are sharing the first talks in our Summer Evening Lecture Series, which will be every Wednesday at 7pm for the months of July & August (regular attendees, please note the change in time!). The location for the lectures is the AV Theatre alongside the Visitor Centre at Connemara National Park. Our first talk on July 5th is by Kay Synott titled ‘Weed or Wildflower’ and on July 12th we have local historian John Hannon giving a talk about Marconi. The talks, as ever, are free of charge and all are welcome.#
