Biodiversity Week 2024 & Natura 2000 Day Bioblitz
The highlight of Biodiversity week 2024 in Killarney National Park is a friendly competition with our fellow European nature sites and reserves – The ‘Natura 2000 Bioblitz’ and your mission with family and friends, is to help identify and record as many species in Killarney National Park as possible.
On Saturday 25th May, Muckross School House, will be open from 10.00am -3.00pm. Various identification walks will take place throughout the day. Conservation Rangers, Ecologists and nature experts will be on hand to help identify your findings. No booking is required. Using the Obsidentify app https://observation.org/apps/obsidentify/
