Heritage Week Tree Hunt
Join us for a quick 30-minute Heritage Week Tree Hunt challenge.
Get a team together. This may be a family, or some friends, or even one person on their own. Give your team a name.
Drop into the NP Information Office and collect a recording sheet. You have 30 minutes to find and name as many trees as possible. (You can start at any time between 10am and 4pm)
Go and explore and see how many trees you can find. Take a photo of a leaf (or needles) of each tree spotted. If you know the name, write it down. If not, when you return to the Info Office, you can use our resources to try and identify the tree.
Each team will receive a score based on the number of trees that they photographed and correctly identified. We shall have a leaderboard with the teams recorded throughout the week.
Can your team be the Tree Champions?
