Wild Nephin National Park

Please note that a large forest fire that started last night is burning its way through the Nephin Forest at Letterkeen on the east side of the national park. Fire service, NPWS staff and local volunteers helped some people who were wild camping to evacuate the area as the fire grew.

All Letterkeen Loop trails, Srahrevagh Loop trails, Western Way and Bangor Trail are closed to the public during this time.

Please note there is no camping or lighting of any fires in the National Park during the orange weather warning that is in place until the 14th of April.
