Children’s Art Competition Winners

Glenveagh National Park are pleased to announce the winners of the recent Wainfest Children’s Art Competition, in partnership with Donegal County Council Biodiversity Office and Climate Action Team, along with wildlife illustrator Robert Vaughan.

Staff at the Park have been overwhelmed with the huge response to the competition and quality of entries from all across the county. A massive congratulations to everyone who took part, to the 13 overall winners and 24 runners up. Thanks also to the teachers, schools and parents who helped support the competition.

All winners are invited to attend a short celebration event on Saturday 10th January where they can collect their prize and have a go at some art with Robert Vaughan at a short workshop. Primary School Winners: 10.30am – 11.30. Secondary School Winners: 1-2pm. Parents/Schools will be contacted with full details early in January.

Over 300 entries are now on display in the Visitor Centre for everyone to enjoy over the winter and entries can be collected again after 17th March for those wishing to get their pieces back again.
