Upcoming events in the Burren National Park for March…
- Guided walks at Slieve Carran on the 8th and along the White Trail on the 22nd explore Burren habitats, species and geology.
- On Sunday the 15th we will celebrate both Mother’s Day and National Tree Week with two themed guided walks.
- On St. Patrick’ Day we will host a walk for families (suitable for 4 to 9 yr olds) incorporating some stories and folklore of St Patrick and Spring.
- A guided walk to Knockaunroe Turlough will explore this unique wetland habitat on the 21st.
- Learn to identify some Burren spring flowers and plants on a flora ID walk on the 29th.
Our events are free but booking is essential for guided walks as places are limited. Please contact us at burrennationalpark@npws.gov.ie or phone 065 6827693 for more details and to book. Walks are weather dependent and may be cancelled if weather warnings are issued.
