They’ll be on hand to answer your questions, share their knowledge and experience, or simply have a chat about the gardens and the work that goes into keeping them looking

Jack Houston

Time: 7.00 – 8.00 PM Where: Visitor Centre Acclaimed fiddler Jack Houston draws the evening to a close with self-composed tunes from his albums ‘Ómós’ and his most recent release ‘An Fhidil Bhriste’. His compositions are influenced by local fiddlers and the people and landscapes of Donegal and Scotland.  

Sarah Cullen & Laura McFadden

Time: 5.00 – 7.00 PM Where: Castle Sarah Cullen is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Carrigart, Co.Donegal. In 2021 she released an album of original material under the name ‘The Reflection Box’, songs from which featured on RTE Radio 1 and BBC Radio Ulster. Suzanne Wainwright

Time: 5.00 – 7.00 PM Where: Castle Suzanne is a Donegal-based harpist, saxophonist, singer and songwriter. A performing arts specialist with postgraduate training in Music Education at the University of Leeds.  She is a retired senior music teacher and experienced vocal coach. She will perform on Celtic harp and saxophone, including her original Celtic song,

Maura Logue, Dark Daughter Productions

Time: 5.00 – 7.00 PM Where: Castle Award winning writer and performer Maura Logue and her fellow performers join us in character as Mrs Adair and friends, once again welcoming guests to Glenveagh Castle for an evening of entertainment.

Seamus Gibson & Ruairí Friel

Time: 5.00 – 7.00 PM Where: Visitor Centre Renowned Donegal Fiddler Seamus Gibson will play tracks from his recent album release ‘Fly by Night’ and ‘The Dropper Ball’ along with a selection of traditional tunes and sets. Accompanied by Ruairí Friel (Fanad, Co. Donegal) who will sing original and selected songs.

Nature Art Zone

Time: 4.30 – 6.30 PM Where: Visitor Centre Get creative in this family friendly nature inspired art workshop, led by Alarnagh, one of our expert Nature Education guides.

Sunflower Ensemble by Tetiana Kovalova

Time: 4.00 – 4.30 PM Where: Visitor Centre Starting the evening off is Tetiana Kovalova, an experienced classical guitarist and music educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. Former head teacher at a state music school in Ukraine and author of ‘Your First Guitar Album’. She continues to perform, teach and promote classical guitar
