Summer at Glenveagh is a great time to get away from it all, take time in nature to explore, learn and relax.

    Start at An Foscadh Mór, pick up your trail card & pencil then choose either the Derrylahan Trail or Lakeside walk to explore & learn about Glenveagh’s native trees.

  • Marvellous Moss at the Log Cabin

    Come along & learn about the weird & wonderful world of moss using recycled fabric & textiles. Bring along your unwanted green fabric & wool for some hands on fun.

  • Music at the Castle

    Join us every Sunday throughout July for music in the Orangery at the Castle. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon listening to traditional Irish tunes played by local Donegal musicians.

  • Adult Nature Art Workshop

    As the light fades and night time approaches,  Glenveagh comes alive with nocturnal species & up to 4 different species of bat.  Enjoy a new ‘Nellies style’ BBQ,  a short talk then a bat adventure with our staff not to be missed. Exact start time will be emailed to closer  to the time.
