A fire has completely destroyed the Claggan Boardwalk, and a separate fire is ongoing at the forest at Letterkeen. Please note that a large forest fire that started last night is burning its way through the Nephin Forest at Letterkeen on the east side of the national park. These sites will reopen at 11:00 am on Monday, 27/01/2025, after full safety checks
