St Brigid’s Weekend Events
Join us to celebrate the coming of Spring this St. Brigid’s Bank Holiday Weekend.
On Signs of Spring guided walks we will look for signs of flora and fauna awakening after the winter.
A walk in the park incorporating Spring Stories and the folklore of Imbolc suitable for families will take place on Sunday.
To celebrate World Wetlands Day on Monday 2nd February, a guided walk to Knockaunroe Turlough will explore this unique wetland habitat and the species that thrive there.
Drop into the Burren National Park Information Point in Corofin to make your own traditional St Brigid’s Cross from rushes. Saturday, Sunday & Monday 10am to 4pm (closed 1-2pm). No experience necessary, all materials provided.
