FREE June 2025 Events @ Wild Nephin

Sunday 15th June, 10am-2pm

To celebrate Men’s Health Week, take a WALK and TALK in Wild Nephin National Park, meeting at Letterkeen Car Park at 10am. This is a guided leisurely walk with a basic introduction to hiking. Get to know about our park, its wildlife, nature and dark skies. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be severed at one of our old cottages after the walk. Limited places, booking required. Moderate Habit Hike 6km, meeting at Letterkeen Car Park at 10am.

Guided walk led by the National Park Guides and Wilderland Artists to Correen hill, where we will learn about the amazing plants that grow on our uplands. Limited places, booking required. Sunday 22nd June, 2pm – 5pm  

Wilderland is joining with Wild Nephin National Park and its local communities to host a Summer Solstice Gathering at the Letterkeen Trailhead. 

Join us to celebrate the Summer Solstice with an afternoon of music, refreshments and free creative workshops for all the family from 2-5pm. We’ll have traditional music and songs with local musicians, so bring your own musical instruments and join the fun. Wilderland artists will be hosting drop-in arts workshops all afternoon, you can hear about their sustainable arts projects and find out how you and your community can get involved in making collaborative artworks this summer. All welcome, FREE event, no booking required. Saturday 28th June, 10am – 4pm 

Strenuous Guided Hike 13km, meeting at Letterkeen Car Park at 10am.

Join our guides on the 13km Letterkeen Loop taking in Cruckgarru. Over 16 years of age only and no dogs allowed. Bring a packed lunch and liquid drink, also suitable footwear and appropriate clothing. Limited places, booking required.
