Glenveagh are delighted to be the first National Park in Ireland to host the Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition on its all-Island tour from November 2024 to the end of January 2025. The Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition is based on Cartoon Saloon’s much loved Puffin Rock series and is an educational partnership with the Heritage Council

The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) in collaboration with the Office of Public Works (OPW) and Regional Cultural Centre (RCC), Donegal is thrilled to announce the launch of two new artist residencies at the recently redeveloped Russell’s Cottage in Glenveagh National Park.
‘The Birch Tree’ Restaurant in the Visitor Centre, Glenveagh National Park is now closed for the season. The Castle tea rooms continue to provide light snacks, tray bakes and tea – coffees, but waiting times may be longer than normal.
To celebrate Heritage Week our Shuttle Bus services & Self-Guided Castle Tours (subject to availability) will be free of charge from Saturday 17th – Sunday 25th August. No booking required. Craft Stalls & Music will also be in the park both weekends. Watch out for the Native Woodland Tent all week & a special open
