The Visitor Centre and Castle will close and there will be no shuttle bus service operating from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day inclusive. The car park and walking trails will remain open during this period. The Castle Tea Rooms will remain open (10am – 4pm) but will close on 24th and 25th of December.

New blue dot signage installed in Glenveagh National Park. The National Parks and Wildlife Service Glenveagh Team were delighted to work with LAWPRO to develop and install interpretative signage to highlight the Blue Dot Catchments Programme and the Owenveagh River. The Owenveagh River runs through the national park and is one of the blue dot
